Timberly is local-first. Your designs live in your browser's storage on your device. We only ever hold a copy of them if you create an account and turn on cloud sync — and you can delete that copy (Account → Delete cloud data) at any time.
Without an account: everything — projects, custom objects, preferences — stays in your browser's localStorage. It never reaches our servers.
With an account (optional): your email address and a copy of your projects and custom-object library are stored with our database provider (Supabase) so they can sync across your devices. Deleting your cloud data removes those copies; your local data is never touched.
AI assistant keys: if you configure an AI provider, your API key is stored only in your browser and sent directly to the provider you chose. It never passes through or reaches Timberly's servers.
We use PostHog with cookieless, localStorage-based tracking to count feature usage (for example "a cabinet was generated"). We never send project content: no names, dimensions, text, or API keys. Events are documented in the project's open-source repository.
Export any project as JSON at any time (File → Export). Delete cloud data from the Account window. For anything else — including full account deletion — contact feedback@timberly.cloud.
